The Grand Finale ~ $475
Painted by Bob Casey in 1988, this dramatic painting
recreates an actual combat action
which took place on May 3, 1945 and is related in
RAF fighter Ace Pierre Clostermann’s
classic book The Big Show. He led a flight
of 24 Hawker Tempest Mark V’s on a mission
against the German seaplane base of Grossenbrode,
Upon reaching the deck after a power
dive from 10,000 feet, Clostermann, flying low and
fast over the seaplane anchorage, encounters
three Dornier DO-24s skimming the wavetops at about
60 feet, attempting to escape. Two did not.
The painting is framed in a handsome walnut hardwood
frame with black border and blue accent
trim. It has mounting hardware and wire and is ready
for immediate viewing enjoyment. In
addition, the name of the painting, “The Grande Finale”
is engraved on a brass nameplate
affixed to the bottom of the frame. Reasonably priced
at $475. Shipping charge is additional
and will be calculated based upon method and destination.

Painted by Bob Casey in 1991. Sharing an airbase on
Tinian with its “Little Friends”,

landing after another long mission to Japan. Just
“another day at the office” for
the men of the Twentieth air Force. The painting is
framed in a handsome Walnut
hardwood frame with black border and blue accent trim.
It has mounting hardware
and wire and is ready for immediate viewing enjoyment.

Moonlight Hunter ~ $450
Painted by Bob Casey. As if the fighters and flak were
not enough! On this particular
evening, the RAF bomber stream had to contend with
a big bright full harvest moon as
well. Predictably, the Avro Lancasters silouhetted
by the moon, were easily picked out
by marauding German nightfighters. A Junkers JU 88C-1
has selected its prey and
opened fire. Will VRR “Ropey” escape the onslaught
and return home at dawn? The
painting is framed with a thin black metal frame and
come complete with mounting
hardware and wire, for immediate viewing enjoyment.
Reasonably priced at $450.
Shipping charge is additional and will be calculated
based upon method and destination.

Torpedo Junction ~ $525
Painted by Bob Casey. A squadron of Grumman TBF Avenger
torpedo bombers has
been vectored to intercept a formation of Japanese
warships and are going in for the kill.
The TBF in the foreground has released its “tin fish”
and has the throttle at full power
to try and escape the murderous and desperate defensive
fire of the lead destroyer and
heavy cruiser following behind. Dramatic action is
the hallmark of this extraordinary
painting. The painting is framed with a thin black
metal frame and comes complete with
mounting wire and hardware, for immediate viewing
enjoyment. Reasonably priced at $525.
Shipping charge is additional and will be calculated
based upon method and destination.
Canvas size 36" x 24".
Seconds to Live ~ $475
Painted by Bob Casey in 1989. This action packed dramatic
canvas depicts a low level
surprise attack by B-25Js of the 354th Bomb Group
“Air Apaches” upon a Japanese
airfield in the Pacific. As the startled Japanese
run for cover, the parafrags descend
from the open bomb bays of the B-25s, creating havoc
with the KI- 43 “Oscars” and
the KI- 61 “Tony” caught out in the open. The painting
is framed in a handsome Walnut
hardwood frame with black border and blue accent trim.
It has mounting hardware and
wire and is ready for immediate viewing enjoyment.

Das Boot ~ $650
Painted by Bob Casey. One of my personal favorites,
this superb painting depicts the full
hull profile of a type VIIC U-boat. In addition to
the superimposed U-boat service badge,
the painting illustrates 12 U-boat badges as they
appeared on some of the most successful
U-boats of WWII. They represent, left to right, top
row: U-255, U-524, U-124, U-83, U-538
and U-201. Bottom row, left to right: U-203, U-64,
U-436, U-47, U-48, and U-217. The black
background is brilliantly offset by the thin metal
gold-colored frame and come complete
with mounting wire and hardware, for immediate viewing
enjoyment. Reasonably priced
at $650. Shipping charge is additional and will be

PROFILES ON GLASS ~ $67 each
Blimey mate! This is a series of unique pieces of original
artwork hand crafted by a retired
policeman in Coventry, England, Steve Foster. These
profiles are created using a mirror
to achieve proper orientation while being painted,
and they feature fine detail, precise
scale and are truly unique. Many feature Squadron
Crests or other inserts. Each Profile
on Glass features a mottled blue background, are signed
dated and numbered, and are
framed in stained wooden frames, complete with the
UK style string mounting method.
These are all originals, and as such, are quite unique,
both in concept and in individuality.
Many other Profiles on Glass are available, but there
is only one painting of each aircraft type,
so order now to avoid disappointment. Reasonably
priced at $67 each. Shipping charges
