Whitetail Ambush ~ $700
Whitetail Ambush portrays an
18th Century Deer Drive as hunters
pushed the dear into natural
funnels and bottlenecks by pounding bones
and shakers to move the game.
A small group of shooters, stationed
along the runways, kept a viligent
watch for the whitetails to come into
range. It was a Native American
belief that harvesting a white doe
foretold of ill fortune and
bad medicine. If a hunter crossed paths with
one, he would thank the Creator
and let it go in peace as did the hunting
party in Whtetail Ambush
